Meet Minnie

Minnie was my great-grandmother, born in Lahaina, Maui, in 1902. After her father’s tragic passing, her mother and siblings were left on their own in Maui. Her uncle, who lived on Kaua‘i, urged them to move so he could help. That decision changed everything.

Years later, Minnie met my great-grandfather—a rancher who sold beef door to door in Kalaheo. One day, he knocked on her door, and they fell in love.

I’ll always remember Minnie’s home—the sweet smell of something baking, the glow of candles beside family photos, and the stories she told over and over, stories I never got tired of hearing. She loved pink, and she always made me feel special when she called me her “blondie,” just like her.

Now, generations later, I sell beef too—just like my great-grandfather. When I opened my ranch store on Minnie’s land, I knew I had name it after her.

Minnie’s Mercantile is more than a store.

It’s a Tribute to her Legacy, Warmth, and our Deep Ranching Roots.

    Growing up in west Texas among well known cattle ranches. I thought that I had tasted the best beef the west had to offer. Boy was I wrong...from the first bite of Ranchers Daughters Reserve, I was hooked. Their grass fed and finished beef was extremely tender and packed with so much flavor. The Andrade family's ranching practices are an amazing example of sustainability and humane farming. I guess I needed to go a little further west to find the best!
