Quick Recipe: Flap Steak Street Tacos

Ingredients

  • Flap (room temp)

  • Garlic salt

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp garlic powder

    Or just use Taco Seasoning!

  • Diced onion

  • Fresh cilantro

  • Lime wedges

  • Corn tortillas

Optional toppings: queso fresco, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, jalapeños, or hot sauce.

Directions

  1. Slice flap meat into long strips with the grain, then cut across the grain into bite-size pieces.

  2. Marinate with Worcestershire, olive oil, salt, and seasonings.

  3. While it marinates, prep toppings: onion, cilantro, lime, and anything else you love.

  4. Cook the meat on the stove until tender and juicy.

  5. Serve in warm corn tortillas and pile high with toppings.
